When you need this
Support during foundation work
We carry the house on cribbing and steel I beams while its foundation is repaired or replaced.
Excavation shoring
Engineered shoring and lagging hold the soil back so deep digs near structures stay safe and legal.
Emergency stabilization
A failing wall or sinking corner shored quickly and properly before it becomes a bigger problem.

Shoring for other contractors
GCs bring us in to design and install shoring on their projects — houses are our specialty.
Why Seattle homes need it
Old houses, wet ground
Shoring is literally the company’s name, and in this region it earns its keep. Seattle’s wet glacial soils do not stand unsupported for long, and tight city lots put nearly every deep excavation within a few feet of a structure, a property line, or a street. Basement dig-outs, foundation replacements, and hillside repairs all depend on temporary support that is engineered, not improvised. Fifty years of holding up Puget Sound houses is why other contractors keep our number in their phones.
Our approach
We match the system to the job: steel cribbing and I beams under buildings, pin piles with lagging at excavations, and engineered temporary walls where soil or structures need holding. Shoring is designed before it is built — loads calculated, layouts engineered, installations inspected.
Homes stay habitable during most shoring work. And because we also lift houses, excavate, and pour foundations, our shoring integrates with the permanent work instead of getting in its way.
